Green Bay (Special to NFLNewsbyZennie62.com) – For the upcoming 2025 NFL Draft, On Broadway, Inc, Downtown Green Bay, Inc., Olde Main Street, Inc. and the City of Green Bay have joined together to plan activities throughout downtown Green Bay.
NFL Draft visitors and local NFL Fans alike will enjoy a Booyah Battle, hosted on Washington St., downtown Green Bay, late morning on Friday, April 25, 2025. This friendly competition will feature local nonprofits paired with a booyah chef of their choice to battle it out for booyah supremacy.
Attendees will get to sample and savor multiple booyah bowls as they enjoy the sounds of polka music and quench their thirst with local beer and other beverage options. More details, including how to participate in the Booyah Battle and the specific location, to be announced soon.
“Downtown Green Bay plans to roll out the red carpet for visitors during the NFL Draft to help welcome attendees coming from throughout the country or from our own community,” said Jeff Mirkes, executive director with Downtown Green Bay, Inc. “We will be offering many reasons to explore the Downtown Districts and are confident that numerous unique events, along with the experience of visiting our variety of authentic, locally owned restaurants, shops and pubs, will help contribute to a great impression and a return trip to Green Bay.”
Additional events will include a fireworks show and details on that and other events happening throughout downtown will be announced soon. A draft event-specific webpage will be created to house the details of these events along with promotional offerings from businesses within each district.
