Zennie Abraham: 2024 NFL Draft Top 50 Players

Zennie Abraham’s list of the Top 50 Players In 2024 NFL Draft Detroit, April 25th – April 27th, 2024.

Atlanta (Special to NFLNewsbyZennie62.com) – After much video study and analysis of NCAA statistics, NFL Combine stats versus pro day reports, combined with this 20-year NFL Draft veteran’s experience going back to when I was 16-years old, and wrote the Dallas Cowboys about drafting a running back I thought they should draft named Timmy Newsome out of Winston-Salem State, not to mention my knowledge of football strategy, and we have my, Zennie Abraham’s, “Top 50 Players In 2024 NFL Draft Detroit”.

Some highlights.

Caleb Williams is ranked after Jayden Daniels here, and that’s because the LSU quarterback is a generational talent that fits where NFL Offenses are going today. Plus, he’s the current Heisman Trophy Winner, and that means a lot in that he was considered the best player in 2023; Drake Maye wasn’t even close, yet he’s ranked much higher than Daniels. And on that, I can’t find a single stat that Maye scores out on, other than height. And that leads me to the cornerbacks.

The cornerbacks were among the best players in the NFL Combine, so why are they not ranked that way here? Also. EDGE rushers selected did not even set any mark for tops in sacks, whereas Colorado State’s Mohamed Kamara is barely talked about, even though he’s got 12 sacks to his name from 2023. One look at Kamara’s video shows he’s got a Dwight Freeney-like capability to rush the passer through some of the best offensive tackles in college football.

Here’s the list. Notable NFL Combine performers are in bold. And join us for our livestream coverage of the 2024 NFL Draft.
