Super Bowl LVIII Decor Takes Over Las Vegas

For Super Bowl LVIII NFL Promises Biggest Projection Show at Caesars Palace, Content on Sphere, Larger-Than-Life Photo Opportunities and Lunar New Year Celebrations

Las Vegas (Special to NFLNewsbyZennie62.com) – The NFL is descending on Las Vegas, with décor programming that will take over the city and welcome local and visiting fans to Super Bowl LVIII. From the time fans arrive at the airport to their walks along the Strip, the league has created numerous moments that celebrate the city as the home of the big game.

Las Vegas Will Be Immersed In Super Bowl LVIII

“There’s no place like Las Vegas, so from a décor standpoint, we wanted to celebrate the city while immersing fans in all things Super Bowl LVIII,” said Daphne Wood, NFL director of events. “Thanks to our local partners, including Caesars Palace, the Las Vegas Host Committee and the LVCVA, we will welcome visitors and residents to our biggest event of the year with unforgettable photo moments and spectacles throughout Las Vegas.”

Caesars Palace Is 50-Yard Line For NFL Decor Programming

A longstanding partner of the league, Caesars Palace will serve as the 50-yard line for NFL décor programming. Serving as the NFL headquarters for the week, the property will host a slew of Super Bowl LVIII graphics, photo opportunities and most notably, the league’s biggest projection show known as the “Super Bowl Spectacular.” Mapped on the side of the Augustus Tower at Caesars Palace, the “Super Bowl Spectacular” features a 65,000-square-foot projection with 1.7M lumens, as well as 42 laser projectors and accompanying sound. The projection will light up the Las Vegas Strip in a first-of-its-kind, three-and-a-half-minute show that will run nightly during Super Bowl week.

Las Vegas Strip Has Full Marquee Takeover Nightly

In addition to the “Super Bowl Spectacular,” the full Las Vegas Strip will feature a full marquee takeover each night from 5 to 5:30 p.m. PT that will showcase the unique landscape of the city. Content will also run throughout the week on the Exosphere – the fully programmable LED exterior of Sphere.

Fan photo opportunities will be interspersed throughout the city. Those walking near Caesars Palace can take a picture on a showstopping Super Bowl throne, stepping into their own moment. The corner of Caesars Palace at Las Vegas Boulevard and Flamingo Road will feature a larger-than-life Vince Lombardi Trophy and Super Bowl LVIII logo for fan photos, along with a large Super Bowl LVIII logo on Freemont Street. For the first time, the pedestrian bridges on Las Vegas Boulevard will feature Super Bowl décor on the exterior with surprise photo moments on the interior of five of the bridges.

Allegiant Stadium Has Giant Super Bowl LVIII Logo

Serving as the home for the big game, Allegiant Stadium will feature a massive Super Bowl LVIII logo on the north side of the stadium and the Vince Lombardi Trophy with the two competing teams on the south windows, which will be the largest graphics ever on the stadium. For Super Bowl Opening Night Fueled by Gatorade – the national kickoff to Super Bowl Week – on Monday, Feb. 5, fans will get a sneak peek at the décor, as they see every player and coach from the two participating teams.

2024 Lunar New Year Same Weekend As Super Bowl LVIII

Taking place the same weekend as Super Bowl LVIII is the 2024 Lunar New Year, which will usher in the Year of the Dragon on Saturday, Feb. 10. The NFL will host multiple celebrations of the holiday at Super Bowl Experience presented by Toyota, including a Lunar New Year-themed activation, which will feature two “battling dragons” designed by award-winning comic artist and Las Vegas local Jae Lee; a limited-edition ‘Year of the Dragon’ football created by Wilson; and Lunar New Year display, where fans can learn about animals of the zodiac and enjoy cultural performances from Las Vegas’ Lohan School of Shaolin.
